The “main” GDC happens once a year in San Francisco around March and is THE happening for game developers worldwide.

I loved visiting the session with the tech details, people really share details. Beside that there are great happenings and events around the Game Developers Conference, but it should be planed well ahead – otherwise you will probably be overwhelmed.

So far i was lucky to visit the event four times and i really loved the openness and the vibe, the crowd and of course the beautiful city of San Francisco, which gives it a very special tone. Just seeing so many homeless people on the streets of SF makes me feel sad every time i was visiting.

From time to time i’ll post details here i’m reading about the GDC and/or share a few memories i might want to write down, so stay tuned…
